The annual audiophile event, the “Hong Kong High-End Audio Visual Show,” will take place from August 7–9. Gotham Asia will once again be exhibiting at HALL 3・F05, presenting our latest engineering breakthroughs, rare vintage cable collections, and Swiss handcrafted originals.
【Major Premiere｜Gotham Audio Next‑Generation Anti‑Magnetic Shielding Cables】
In January 2026, Gotham Audio will officially launch its new generation of ultra high magnetic‑resistance shielding cables.
Building upon our flagship dual Reussen counter‑wound shielding structure, we have, for the first time, integrated a layer of high‑efficiency mu‑metal magnetic shielding. This dramatically enhances the cable’s ability to suppress low‑frequency magnetic interference.
With this added magnetic barrier, the cable now resists both electric‑field and magnetic‑field disturbances, elevating signal purity and delivering a more refined, stable, and layered sonic presentation.
This breakthrough structural innovation represents Gotham Audio’s latest engineering milestone—purpose‑built for professional recording engineers, broadcast system designers, and discerning high‑end audio enthusiasts.
【Vintage Classics｜The Return of True Analog Tone】
Gotham Audio Cables CEO Mr. Franz R. Ammann will be present at booth F05, bringing with him a rare selection of classic cables from the original factory archives:
- GAC‑2: 10403 Signal Cable
- GAC‑2: 10550 Phono Cable
These discontinued models have been stored for decades in the factory warehouse, with conductors naturally annealed over time—resulting in a rich, unmistakably analog tonal character. Expect full-bodied lows, delicate highs, and a musicality that modern cables can rarely replicate.
Due to extremely limited raw materials, only 20–30 finished pairs can be produced. Pre‑order registration will open shortly—please stay tuned if you wish to secure a set.
【Swiss Originals｜Handcrafted Cable Assemblies】
Mr. Franz will also showcase a selection of Swiss‑assembled handcrafted cables.
Each cable embodies the precision and restraint of Swiss craftsmanship: exclusively using Gotham original cables and Gotham factory connectors, meticulously hand‑assembled and individually tested by technicians at our Dietikon laboratory in Switzerland.
This is more than a cable—it is a sonic artifact shaped by time and craftsmanship.
